I need some help with star wars Empire At War.?

Is their any way for me to set the color fractions to neutral because im tired of my ships being pink and green and stuff.And i got the forces of corruption expansion pack and i was playing a space battle and I noticed my empire ships were not tie fighters but tie interceptors, I like the tie fighter better so can i change it back?
you can't change the color to neutral but as far as i know about the tie shouldn't you be allowed to build ties or launch them from destroyers
