HI, I have a game called Star Wars Empire at War Gold Pack that comes with Forces of Corruption. The regular single player game-play works great. No lag, no shuttering, nothing. Absolutely perfect. Now my problem. I have full account information, everything with gamespy arcade and account information is okay. The problem is, it will connect, and takes me into the screen that lists: Custom Match, Community, etc. It will list everything including the players online and how many matches are available, but it freezes. The only thing that is happening is the theme music playing and I can move the mouse pointer around. It will not respond, so I hit the Ctrl-Alt-Del button’s and I end the program. Itry t over and over, but still, nothing. Help please? Thank You! : )

Have you applied the latest patches for both the game and the GameSpy component?

Also, has the game been certified to run with 100% compatibility with your OS?

1. How do you get any patches if you have steam installed? I get a message say "Star Wars Empire At War Forces of Corruption not found. Please reinstall the game from the original CD-ROM and try again. The problem is, I don’t have the CD-ROM. HELP!

2. Does the enemy every attack you in the planet mode thingy? Say for example, if you have a fleet over tatooine, will the rebels ever send a fleet to attack you back?

1. Hmm, sorry not familiar with steam…

2. Yes, in Galactic Conquest mode, the enemy will send attacks to your planets. And if you are playing on hard, they will send large attacks that are very difficult to defend.

There is an option to screenshot in Star Wars Empire At War: Forces Of Corruption, I do not know how to see them though. My question is how do you view them and/or where are they saved?

I play star wars: Empire At War Forces of Corruption on the default settings on my ATI Radeon HD 3200, and it runs pretty smooth. I’m getting a laptop pretty soon, and I have the choice between the Intel core i3 2.4 GHz with the ATI Radeon HD 5470, or the core i5 2.8 GHz with Intel integrated graphics. I figured that i’d go for the i5, because I will rarely play games on it, and when I do, they’re all old games that I figure will work fine on the Intel HD. Am I making the right choice?

It looks to me as if you are.
