Star Wars Kotor 2 messes up on PC?

alright i got kotor 2 and installed it and it was fine but i used a mod and it messed up. when i created my person, it loaded, then goes to the star wars credits, then black screen b4 the ebon hawk clip, but it stays there, a flash of static pops up, and it said it has experianced a problem and had to close.

i un installed it and reinstalled it and didnt use the mod ( i deleted it) and it still says it, what do i do?

You really need to make sure you deleted everything. go to the windows search and type in the mod and anything else Kotor 2, if that doesnt work you might try doing a system restore to an earlier point before you enacted the mod… good game by the way, can i ask what mod it was. I am downloading mods for that game myself and i want to be careful

why were the republic credits useless in some star wars planets?

why?

There’s a little more to it that what "DMG" says but for a "nutshell" version it’s very accurate. Expanding on it, some planets are so far away from Coruscant that the rules and other things of the Republic really don’t matter on planets that far out into the outer rim of the galaxy. They have developed there own currency and the Republic credit is worthless on those planets … that’s why Watto wouldn’t accept them as payment for the parts that Qui-Gon was looking for to repair Queen Amidala’s ship in ep I.
